Springfield IL Photographer Hearts The Windy City

Who needs mustaches on sticks when you’re in the Windy City? I love serendipitous moments like this! No PhotoShop necessary, folks. :) Just lucky timing!

St. Louis Engagement Photos from Kari Bedford Photography

Catherine and Charlie are lovely, lovely people as their engagement photos demonstrate. We had a rainy, crazy, rainbow-y day in St. Louis for their session and they were both good sports about the erratic weather (and the erratic photographer). I am very excited about photographing their wedding in Springfield, Illinois in October!

From Springfield, IL to Chicago: Engagement Session with Morgan and Marco

Even though Morgan and Marco will have a Springfield, Illinois wedding, they wanted to have their engagement photos taken in beautiful Chicago where they currently live. I can’t blame them! We had a crazy, blustery day in the windy city…complete with 75,000 soccer fans competing for parking spots at Soldier Field. I love the photos that we were able to get, in spite of the weekend traffic!

St Louis Engagement Session at Eckert’s Orchard from Kari Bedford Photography

With predictions of 5 to 8 inches of snow, I thought it might be nice to warm up with some sunny, snuggly photos from an engagement session. Lindsey and Brad will be married in Savannah, GA in May. I can hardly wait for their wedding! It is sure to be a beautiful, personal occasion!00252lin_bra_eng

Springfield Illinois Engagement Session: Kari and Gareth

I told Kari and Gareth that I would love to photograph their upcoming wedding — but only if Kari spelled her name like mine. Just kidding.

These are just a handful of my favorite images from their session. There are a LOT more, but is it any wonder? These two kids are so stinkin’ cute…and obviously very crazy about each other. I mean, OBVIOUSLY. Sometimes I had to remind them to peel their eyes off of each other and look at me. Not that I blame either of them!

Anyway, we had a lot of fun traipsing through poison ivy and playing with goats and horses on Tom Irwin’s farm. Also, they are both hilarious — I can hardly wait for their wedding in St. Charles, Missouri!

Thanks to John Irwin for assisting on the farm!
