If you stalk wedding blogs, you are already familiar with the beautiful and inspiring site, Style Me Pretty. I am very pleased to announce that they have chosen not one, but two of my weddings to feature on the blog. You can view them here and here!
Let me just say this: I am a total foodie and a complete and utter beer snob. So when Michael and Melissa showed up with their dogs (who were named after breakfast foods) whilst wearing matching Ranger IPA t-shirts, I knew we would get along just fine. They chose Heritage Prairie Farm as the location of their engagement photos. Consequently, it was also the location of their brunch wedding. I love working in a single location like this — especially one that is new to me. It gives the photos a unified feel and allows me to play in a new spot — one that just happened to be right up my alley, in this case. Enjoy.
Karen and Phil were married at beautiful Cantigny in Wheaton, Illinois. Here are a few of my favorites from their gorgeous fall wedding!
Even though Morgan and Marco will have a Springfield, Illinois wedding, they wanted to have their engagement photos taken in beautiful Chicago where they currently live. I can’t blame them! We had a crazy, blustery day in the windy city…complete with 75,000 soccer fans competing for parking spots at Soldier Field. I love the photos that we were able to get, in spite of the weekend traffic!
Kevin and Tessa were married at Sacred Heart Church in Lombard, Illinois on November 6, 2010. Their reception was held in the very contemporary Esplanade Lakes in Downers Grove, Illinois. Don’t let their supermodel looks fool you, though. These two are so fun loving and down-to-earth — and they truly put their families ahead of everything else. Look for their featured gallery on Kari Bedford Photography soon, but in the meantime, here are a few of my favorite images from the day!
