Kissing is yucky.
Who needs mustaches on sticks when you’re in the Windy City? I love serendipitous moments like this! No PhotoShop necessary, folks. :) Just lucky timing!
The bulk of the work of a wedding photographer happens long after the guests have gone home, the bouquet has wilted, and the couple is well on their way to some sunny beach. And I shoot too many as many photos as I can at a wedding — because you never know when a groomsman will lock his knees and pass out on the altar (I’ve seen it happen). Lots of photos = long, long hours in PhotoShop spent editing and toning each photo by hand. Sometimes, on particularly long days of editing, I get a little loopy. And if I’m really lucky, there will be some photo (or series of photos) that is particularly hilarious to me. Sometimes it’s a goofy expression…or a bizarre scenario…or a bored grandparent. And sometimes, it’s just a trick of the light. At those times, it’s good to take a break and have a little fun with speech bubbles.
What can I say? I’m easily entertained.
